Clark Middle Youth Service Center
What is the Clark Middle Youth Service Center?
As a part of the Kentucky Education Reform Act of 1990, the Youth Services Center (YSC) was created. The YSC is funded by a state grant and donations. The YSC Staff of Clark Middle School includes the Director and the school nurse. The staff works hand in hand with individuals, families, and community resources to meet the needs of the students and families in order to help them succeed. The YSC can provide services such as clothing and school supplies ,but also works with school and community programs to meet these and other needs. ALL students attending Clark Middle School are eligible for services.
The Clark Middle School Youth Service Center works to remove obstacles that interfere with classroom success.
What services does the Clark Middle School Youth Service Center Provide?
Referrals for health and social services
Provide family crisis and mental health referrals
Offer substance abuse services and referrals
Clothing bank and referrals to other clothing resources
Employment counseling, training, and placement
Referrals for basic human needs
Provide school supplies as needed
Referrals to school nurse and health department as needed
