ATTENTION: Want to help
the homeless of Clark County? You can help more than you know just by
bringing your aluminum pop cans to McClure and place in the large, green recycle
bins located in the front hall of the school, and for your convenience, there is
a green recycle bin located outside the front of our school.
*Please detach the tabs and give to Mrs. Miller or
Mrs. Perry as these are recycled, too! In fact, the proceeds go to help
pay for families to stay at the Ronald
McDonald House if a child in the family is ill.
You would be surprised at just how beneficial your
used cans will help!
Also, any loose change may be donated and placed in
the large water jug in the front foyer of our school. Your "loose change"
can help "change" the homeless in Clark County.
The recycle project, tabs for the Ronald McDonald
House, and the loose change drive will conclude at the end of the school year.
We hope you'll remember to save your pop can tabs,
bring your aluminum cans, and donate any loose change to help the homeless of
our community!

Hannah McClure Elementary School has a neighborhood
atmosphere. Approximately 290 students from
kindergarten
through fifth grade come to prepare for their future
successes. Thanks to the dedication of excellent
teachers, strong support staff, and involved parents
over the years, our school has a tradition, which
inspires students to discover their talents and excel in
academics.
Teachers participate in up-to-date professional
development activities and apply nationally recognized
strategies in their teaching to provide students with
developmentally appropriate learning opportunities.
Hands-on experiences are the emphasis in our reading,
math, science, social studies, and writing process
instruction. The arts and humanities are integrated
throughout the curricula.
Our
home and school relationship is a powerful support for
our children. Parents, grandparents, and community
members volunteer over 2,000 hours each year to assure
student success.
Every
morning the school begins the day with the Pledge of
Allegiance, a Moment of Silence, and the McClure Student
Promise. Our school mascot is the Husky. We say we
pull together like a team. |
